Wizardly Update

For all of you keeping up with this blog, you are aware of some of the latest happenings.

In particular a series of simple portraits of the wizards of Middle-Earth. There are already three familiar faces for viewing in the gallery, but wait there's more!

If you were thinking that I am planning on portraits of the two blue wizards... you were right! In addition I am trying to push the boundaries of their portraits while still remaining true to the style established in the three other portraits.

So keep an eye out for three other wizardly portraits!

Update

Well hello there!

I have uploaded some new vector art pieces that I've made that are sure to make you laugh!

There is also one other new piece that was painted with all the colors of the wind.

So what are you waiting for head over to the gallery!

LEGO Renders!

I have posted some renderings of LEGO computer models which you might find interesting. Rendering LEGO models is something that I have been interested in for a long time now, and is something which I have been able to explore recently.

So I thought I might share that with you by posting a few in the gallery.

Take a look around!

Vector Art and Other Projects!

Hey people reading this blog,

I have just uploaded some vector art to the gallery. One was worked from an old sketch, and the other was created for Joey Parks on Twitter (you can also check out some of the sketches leading up to the final product on that one). Both were incredibly fun to work on, and both turned out very differently, but they are totally worth checking out!

There are also some maps I made with good old pen and paper that you might enjoy taking a look at. I tried to give both of them the feeling of being old in the pen style, in addition to giving them a weathered feel.

So there's some new stuff to check out! Go check it out!

The Beginning

Hello, and welcome to the blog of HerringRC. I would like to begin by telling you about myself and this LLC. My name is Reed, and I have set about creating a business that will operate on commission to meet your every creative need. Currently I am attending Wheaton College in Illinois, and I look forward to continue my studies in the fall. I am taking advantage of my downtime this summer to pursue my interests in art and graphic design by starting this business. Aside from art I have passions for all things superheroes as well as LEGO. LEGO is really fun and full of possibilities, but I'm sure you were already aware of that; you can check out some of my studded compositions here if you are interested. So I would like to welcome you to HerringRC, LLC, and invite you to have a look around and consider myself in your next creative endeavor.
